Fanuc ALARM SV0603 aiSV-B AL-8., AL-9., AL-A.
Alarm SV0603 Fanuc 0iF or 31iB and AL-8.,
AL-9., AL-A. on
aiSV-B means,
an overheat alarm has been output from the IPM
(Intelligent Power Module) of the servo amplifier.
Cause and troubleshooting
(a) Be sure to push the control printed circuit board as far as it will go.
(b) Check that the heat sink cooling fan is running.
(c) Check that the motor is being used at or below its continuous rating.
(d) Check that the cooling capacity of the electrical cabinet is sufficient (inspect the fans
and filters).
(e) Check that the ambient temperature is not too high.
→ Replace the servo amplifier.

Note: Some
Machine's electrical cabinet doors are equipped with "door interlock"
that will cause the breaker to trip when the door is open.
