K Factory Automation Services has large inventory of Fanuc parts in stock and we maintain a full service in-house repair facility.

 Alarm 351 SPC Serial Pulse Coder Communication is Abnormal.  

(1) Check the Diagnostic 202

#7 (DTE) Data error has occurred. Communication failure of serial pulse coder.
Check items: (1) Pulse coder feedback cable is disconnected
(2) Serial pulse coder is faulty
(3) +5V supply to the pulse coder is abnormally low. 

#6 (CRC) CRC error has occurred. Serial Pulse Coder communication data is erroneous.

#5 (STB) Stop bit error has occurred. Serial Pulse Coder communication data is erroneous.

If DGN 203 bit#5 (STB) and/or bit#6 (CRC) = 1,
Check items:
(1) Pulse coder feedback cable is disconnected
(2) Serial pulse coder is faulty
(3) Main CPU board or Option 2 board is faulty.

This alarm is applicable to Fanuc 18TB, 16MB, 18TC, 16MC, 18MC control
