If only Alarm 350 is generated, refer to the following
(1) Check the Diagnostic 202
DGN 202 | #7 | #6 CSA | #5 | #4 PHA | #3 RCA | #2 | #1 CKA | #0 SPH |
#6 (CSA) Check sum alarm has generated
#4 (PHA) Phase data abnormal alarm has generated
#3 (RCA) Speed count abnormal alarm has generated
#1 (CKA) Clock alarm has generated.
#0 (SPH) Soft phase data abnormal alarm has generated.
* If the Alarm 350 alarm is intermitted, check and record the diagnostic 202 every time the alarm 350 occurs. If the DGN 202 is consistently pointing to the same bit, serial pulse coder in the motor is most likely the issue. On the other hand, if the diagnostic bit varies at each occurrence of alarm 350, external electrical noise (such as the pulse coder feedback cable not being grounded/ shielded properly) may be the issue.
This alarm is applicable to Fanuc 18TB, 16MB, 18TC, 16MC, 18MC control
